While I have found myself saying this to my kids too, I know that part of every ‘job’, ‘career’ etc, are things that are boring, difficult or unpleasant. Hopefully more positives than negatives!
Finding your passion can be good advice just don’t expect that your passion of playing video games, just an example, entitles you to get paid the big bucks as a career (although I do know it happens to a few).
Entitlement? You are entitled to work hard and become competent. This will enable you to be passionate about your skilled talents.
I firmly believe being really good at something increases your satisfaction and can be your “passion’. But it doesn’t guarantee or even remotely mean that you will enjoy every minute of that passion.
