Everyone wants to be a writer. Oh, they don’t?

Shit, I guess it just us crazy people here on Medium and other online sites.

I always wanted to write.

Because I read all the time when I was a child. All the time. In the bath, on the bus, at recess, at lunch, at school, right after school, evening and late into the night. Often I barely made it to class in the am simply because I stayed up too late to read.

Reading in the bath is awesome, relaxing and wonderful — just don’t ask how many books I had to lay out to dry and hope the pages would get flatten!

And I also thought I could never be a writer. OH, I tried.

I was weaned on Agatha Christie novels. Just a little brag here — I have read every single one — including Mary Westmacott, and her biographies). So, I love the detective genre and AG.

Did you know Agatha pumped 1 -2 novels out a year like clockwork? She is the best selling novelist — of ALL TIME.

Don’t trash the Agatha Christie books — nothing relaxes me more. I have reread them multiple times.
