I love to read. I have been a reader since I was 2 years old and had memorized Cinderella and “read” it back to my parents.

Books have been a life-saver for me. Saving me from stress, boredom, indecision, heartache and more. Books have been, and continue to be, a balm to my soul and a beacon of light to my mind.

Some books are simple escapism, pulp fiction, silly romances, etc.

Some are profound and life-changing.

Here is a quick list of some books I have read that I love and have impacted my life to a greater or lesser degree. Some are simple and not that intense, while others are quite significant.

  1. Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott.
  2. The Twelve Rules of Life, by Jordan. B. Peterson.
  3. The Murder on the Orient Express, by Agatha Christie.
  4. The Poisonwood Bible, by Barbara Kingsolver.
  5. Man’s Search for Meaning, by Victor Frankl.
  6. Daring Greatly, by Brene Brown.
  7. Do the Work, by Steven Pressfield.
  8. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, by JK Rowling.
  9. A Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson.
