I first learned from Dave Ramsey. This opened my eyes. Then I started researching financial independence more and found some great podcasts, such as Afford Anything, ChooseFI, Explore FI Canada, MAD Fientist, Mo’ Money podcast etc. I listened to these nonstop.

I also started reading many books Anthony Robbins, the Automatic Millionaire, Your Money or Your Life and many others.

I should preface everything by saying I read business books and personal development books since my teens.

Once the lightbulb goes on about how simple personal finance actually is it’s impossible to go back. Like taking the “red pill” from the Matrix. Ignorance is no longer possible.
